About

Hi! I'm Zion. ✧

I'm Zion Meiko, an illustrator and character designer with a deep love for storytelling.

Art has always been the one constant in my life, and it’s deeply connected to my family. My dad was an artist, and his old paintings still fill our home. As a kid, my great-grandfather would give me newspaper comics, and I’d spend hours watching old Boomerang cartoons on his TV. Later, my other grandfather introduced me to anime. He was a bodybuilder during his younger years, so I guess that made him feel connected to Goku. My aunts had me hooked on 90s cartoons, Rugrats, Cat & Dog, Hey Arnold, Ren & Stimpy, the list goes on. All of these experiences developed my love for animation and comics, and ever since then, I’ve had my mind set on one thing: to make my own. Every day I get a step closer to achieving that.
